Strategies  for Compliance

Deadlines for AODA compliance continue to loom,

some as early as January 2014!

Is your organization ready?

If you are a public, private or not-for-profit organization
with at least one employee in Ontario, you are subject to the Accessibility
for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
and its three accessibility standards. The IASR (Integrated Accessibility Standard Regulation) standard are more wide ranging than the Customer Service Standard (CSS) and relate to Information and Communication, Employment including Disability Management, Transportation and now the Ontario Build Code ABES (Accessible
Built Environment Standard).

It is crucial that your AODA Working Committees or Manager be aware of the current and upcoming deadlines and the actions that your organization is expected to
take in order to comply.

Our Strategic & Built Environment experts will help you understand the requirements of the legislation and give
you practical advice on how to ensure your organization is taking the necessary
steps towards compliance.
